The integral D-ring extension provides the user with an additional dorsal attachment point for connecting to a self-retracting lanyard when twin legs are not in use. This allows the user to maintain 100% tie-off while transitioning from the use of the shock-absorbing lanyard to the use of a self-retracting lanyard and vice-versa. The shock absorber keeps fall arrest forces below 900 pounds and the pouchless design makes it more comfortable to wear. The LS swivel snaphook on the user end prevents the lanyard from tangling during use.

All Diamond Lanyards and Expanyards meet applicable OSHA regulations and ANSI A10.32.
